The history behind this album is so interesting and matters a lot for you to understand why it is so special.

In 2014, where Juan was starting the first productions, so many "beta" songs was made (most of them releaseds on next years as different aliases). That year was the most fanatic stage of Juan's life by the duo Daft Punk. He listened to them everyday, everytime and every moment. Of course the inspiration for the songs was clear, what made Juan compose some songs inspireds by the music duo.

Based by the album "Daft Club", Juan decided to call him new project "The Club", but even this project was finished, what could he do with this? The only way he knew was Soundcloud, so the entire album was posted in one exclusive profile (still online!!!) and share through Facebook groups. As expected, the album haven't any sucess, the mastering and mix wasn't good enough, it was uploades in mp3 128kbps, no labels, no talking... Until 2017, when Juan already fixed on Minimal style (with Gameplayer project) and knew a lot of labels which worked with Minimal, Techno and House genres.

This way, to be more short and official, Juan decided to send "The Club" with only 10 tracks to Strabaganzza Records from Mexico, where that same year was released on stores. But nhay, it was not the road to sucess... The album became lost and Strabaganzza was down in 2019, what made Juan build a remastered and mixed (and physical!) edition of "The Club", which you still can find on Velter's Ward profile and contain 12 tracks from the first version of the album. By the way, it didn't became the album official, and again it was forgotten by everyone, including Juan.

Knowing of this story, i can tell you that this is the last try to make this historical creation by Juan Velter, having the deserved place in memory. Not only the 14 original songs are here in full original mix, but a 15th one was included (the track 14, and edit of track 8). A new mastering was done, a new cover and aliase was made to this kind of music. "The Club" was the first album and the first real release by Gameplayer and Juan carear (even it wasn't official), and now it will be the debut of the new name from Velter's Yard: Double Edge Soul, the duo between Gameplayer and Aidan Vince, the two brother-souls and the owner of Juan's real face. More songs by this duo will come over ahead, and all will start by a club... A club where you can dance, be yourself, be loved, be free and be part of this world. Let the club be your secret place, and have fun with us!
